Zip HydroTap G5 Classic Plus is a tap with an advanced, integrated system designed for workplaces of all sizes, where capacity, safety, and water quality are key priorities. From one elegant tap, the system delivers filtered boiling, chilled, and sparkling water quickly and easily.

The system consists of a sleek tap mounted above the countertop and a command centre installed in an undercounter cabinet. This unit handles heating, cooling, and carbonation. The water is filtered down to 0.2 microns, effectively reducing particles, lead, microplastics, and up to 99.9 percent of microbiological cysts, while preserving the water’s natural minerals and chlorine protection. In this fifth generation of the HydroTap command centre, the main components in the water path to the tap are coated with SteriTouch, which reduces surface bacteria by 99.99 percent.

Safe operation

For increased safety, the boiling point is factory set to 98 °C to prevent unwanted bursts of hot steam during dispensing, and the tap is always cool to the touch. The system also features built-in safety locks for hot water, providing additional protection in environments where many users with varying levels of experience use the equipment daily.

HydroTap G5 Classic Plus is developed with energy-efficient operation in mind. It uses an environmentally friendly refrigerant (R290), air-cooled technology with low water consumption, and energy-saving modes that reduce both operating costs and environmental impact.
